Long bio

Logan Golden, B.S., M.A., LPC-MHSP, NCC | Certified in Religious Trauma Studies (GCRR), is a Licensed Professional Counselor and the founder of Golden Elevation Counseling in Memphis, Tennessee, where he offers sessions in person and by telehealth for clients located in Tennessee. He is also part of the therapy team at Experiential Healing Center in Memphis and is one of the therapists at MERCI Memphis Counseling Center, a nonprofit that offers counseling, including Ryan White Program-funded therapy for people living with HIV.

Logan's work centers on trauma, relationships, and emotional growth. He works with many people who are LGBTQIA+, who are untangling painful religious experiences, or who are learning new ways to connect with the people they love. His approach is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and collaborative. He never asks clients to keep, change, or leave their faith. Instead, he helps them put words to what happened and decide their own path. He runs ongoing process groups and a yearly three-day religious trauma intensive.

Beyond the therapy room, Logan gives talks, trainings, and workshops, and has guest lectured in master's programs, on religious trauma, men's mental health, and LGBTQIA+-affirming care. Through Therapist Practice Vault, he creates print-ready resources for fellow clinicians, including a 24-page affirming worksheet packet and the Religious Trauma Therapy Worksheets & Clinician Guide, launching Sun Nov 15, 2026.
